The past twelve months have also been eventful for Cynikal, most notably a slot on the main stage at the Turning Point Festival, with Professor Green, Ms Dynamite, Rob Da Bank, Roll Deep and other huge names. He has also performed at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club accompanied by The Street Orchestra, and achieved a 1:1 in BA Music Production. Previous notable achievements include a support slot on US rapper The Game’s UK tour, airplay on BBC 1Xtra, BBC Asian Network, Kiss FM and Choice FM, as well as appearances on MTV Base and Channel 4 as part of Dubplate Drama’s ‘Spit It Out’ campaign. This month Cynikal opened the Gaymers tent at Lovebox Festival with a 45-minute set of pulsating Hip Hop.
