After a brilliant set at Underage Festival 2010 we are thrilled to have Devlin back again this year!

A voice that started on Rinse FM aged 13 and has reached the tipping point. A true underground hero, he’s amassed a reputation as freestyle master and a king of pirate radio. But in 2010, Devlin took a giant leap further and signed a deal with Island Records.

The breeding ground for so many of 2010’s stars has saved its best till last in Devlin. Both a playful and polemical poet, he is famed for “the biggest vocabulary in grime”. Signed to Island Records in early 2010 after a five-label bidding war, his debut album ‘bud, sweat & beers’ is a musical and lyrical state-of-the-art landmark, Devlin’s worldview beamed through the prism of pioneering producers and beguiling female vocalists, including Lewi White, Naughty Boy, Future Cut and Yasmin.

He’s the cinematic storyteller with the febrile brain but also the conscience rapper with a complex soul, mixing youthful bravado with social realism. He toys with imagery expertly while cracking the wryest, rhythmical jokes.
