Normally, you expect to hear murmurs when exciting new bands form. Word of mount spreads through friends of friends and anticipation builds steadily as the world awaits the group’s first new demo. But every once in a while, an acts takes you utterly by surprise, springing to life out of nowhere, seemingly fully-formed with tunes that instantly rock your world.

This is true of Yaaks.

All we know is they are from Eastbourne, they are some kind of six sided hive mind, they are into philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau. But with a tracks like HRHRHYTHM we don’t need to know much more!!!
