"STARLING sing songs of alienation and innocence with the wide eyed excitement of a child lost in a slightly wierd universe. Within their deceptively simple rhythms lie some pretty cool shades of trip-rock too; there are times when it's almost as if the White Rabbit himself has hopped up onto the stage. Their singer may hint at John Lennon vocally, but the group are at their best when they hit the distortion pedals. ‘Now I've Got A Reason' is growling Sex Pistols punk, whilst ‘Say What You Will' offers an adrenalin rush of James Bond themed madness. Its riff alone could do battle with Led Zeppelin's ‘Kashmir' and slay. Slay, I tell thee! " (Ric Rawlins, Artrocker)
